The Original Constitution of the Dallas Agricultural Club was Approved at the Annual Meeting of the Club held Monday, August 4, 1958 in the Dallas Hotel, Dallas, Texas.

Constitution
Article 1
This club shall be known as The Dallas Agricultural Club.
Article 2
The purpose shall be to further the welfare of agriculture in the State of Texas by bringing together the agricultural forces of Dallas and its trade territory to discuss the major agricultural problems of the day.

By-Laws
Section 1
The duties of each officer named in the Constitution shall be such as usually pertain to this office.
Section 2
All other executive duties shall be performed by the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors shall consist of: The President, the Vice President, Immediate Past President and twelve members (four of whom shall be elected each year to serve for a term of three years). The President shall serve as Chairman with the right to vote only in case of a tie. The Board of Directors shall appoint from its membership an Executive Committee of three members consisting of President, Vice President and Secretary-Treasurer.
Section 3
The dues shall be $25.00 per year, payable yearly in advance, due January 1st. A Lifetime Membership may be acquired by a one-time payment of ten times the Annual dues. The dues may be changed on recommendation of the Board of Directors and by a majority vote of the members present at any regular meeting.
Section 4
Meetings of the Club shall be held once a month, the time and place to be designated by the Board of Directors. Special meetings shall be held at such times and places as designated by the President, subject to approval by the Board of Directors.
Section 5
The elected officers and members of the Board of Directors of this Club shall be elected annually at the November meeting prior to the calendar year that they are to serve and shall hold offices until their successors are duly elected and qualified. Newly elected officers and members of the Board of Directors shall assume their duties effective January of the calendar year for which they have been elected. The President shall make appointments to serve unfinished terms of Directors.
Section 6
Any member may be expelled from the Club, without a refund of dues, by a majority vote of members present at any meeting.
Section 7
The President shall appoint such committees as are required to conduct the Affairs of the Club, including Program, Nominating, Membership and Attendance Committees, with such number of members as shall seem advisable.
Section 8
The Audit Committee shall be a standing committee if the Board consisting of at least three members. Each member shall serve a three-year term. Initial terms should be staggered so that one new member replaces one old member each year. Each year during the first fiscal quarter, the Audit Committee shall audit the books and records and submit a final audit and report on the status of the Club’s affairs to the Board by the March meeting.
